About our Inspector
John Pickens founded Eco Stormwater & Construction with one goal: deliver expert stormwater services with the personal attention that big companies can’t provide. With over 10 years of experience and 250+ properties served across Metro Atlanta, John has become one of the region’s most trusted names in detention pond inspection and stormwater maintenance. He holds a Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC) Level II certification and brings that expertise to every inspection, maintenance visit, and repair project.
John also holds a degree from the University of North Georgia and was a member of the Army Corps of Cadets. He enjoys fly fishing,barbequing, boating on Lake Lanier, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
The “& Construction” in our name reflects part of what we actually do. In addition to inspections and routine maintenance, Eco Stormwater & Construction handles hands-on repair work: repairing failing outfall structures, installing rock check dams, dredging accumulated sediment, and restoring ponds and stormwater systems to full working condition.
